Bringing a modern touch to Transit around Atlanta
MARTA is the regional transit system for the metro Atlanta area using heavy rail train, streetcar and bus routes. The accompanying app, MARTA On The Go is currently has an outdated UI with a clunky user flow that is not intuitive for riders and can take an longer to find the right information.
The loading splash has outdated styling as well as not scaling for the larger phones of today. The opening page shows favorite routes but is all small text based with navigation on the bottom that may not intuitive for all users of what the do. One large issue is that for looking at the schedules you can only look at the full list which for bus routes can be unwieldy to find a route near you.
